Perched high above the Saskatchewan River, this modern residence is designed to blend the interior living space with the surrounding environment. The use of large walls of glass takes advantage of the forest views and brings natural light into the center of the house. Because of the extreme weather conditions of the location, the orientation on the site, layout and materials palette were designed to promote energy efficiency and heat conservation.
